Philosophy Statement 

My philosophy in life is to create positive and lasting change in this world. I want everything that I do to reflect my passion for the betterment of humankind. Whether it is advocacy, project management, or research, I want the work I do to matter. 

 

My heart lies in human rights advocacy. I want to be a champion of human rights protections globally. Moving through life with my intersectional identities has shown me the importance of advocating for myself and for change, in spite of others pushing for a continuation of the status quo. Through human rights advocacy, I want to ensure that even the most marginalized of people are heard and treated equitably. 

 

In this world, I seek to step outside both my comfort zone and the societal boundaries that surround me. Given a choice of fight or flight, I am a natural fighter. I strive to consistently push myself and others to challenge the world as it is and dare to make a difference.
