Beginning a social activism club at my high school helped me to create a safe space for students regardless of their backgrounds to strive for positive societal change in the form of discussions and community initiatives such as partnering with Feeding South Florida. 

Being an Inclusive Excellence Fellow has not only increased my understanding of what it means to have an anti-racist campus but it has provided me with the necessary skills, guidance and resources to actualize one. 

My consecutive winter, spring, and summer breaks spent at Legal Aid offered me valuable insights into pro bono legal activism. I was able to collaborate with law interns, clerks and lawyers alike to provide legal aid to marginalized community members.  

Obtaining fluency in French is important for my future career in international law. For the summer of 2021, I will be participating in an intensive language program at Middlebury College.
